I don't.  They cut firewood up in the mountains but I have to go through a bunch of desert to get there. I'd be better off with a tree company in the city probably.  People are cutting cottonwood branches all the time here in the village, since they randomly drop off the trees.  Huge one almost crushed our trash truck a few weeks ago - pierced the hood of the truck - thank goodness it missed the cab or the driver would have been hurt or killed.


Might be a good day to recuperate from working out in the cold yesterday.   Wouldn't want to wear out your tools.

It's funny y'all are posting about medicines. I was popping on to say my new little cockerel has a bit of a runny nose. I'm hoping it's from dust/food that got stuck up there after his trip and not something that will prevent me from selling chicks or eggs or require culling. The snot is clearish and there is no swelling that I can make out.

After they drink in the winter, more so..they will shake their heads and get that water off. I notice when it's extra cold, they will get a bit runny. I remember the first time I saw this in the winter yrs. ago..I freaked out. I watched them and watched them. Kept going out to see if anyone was sitting around all fluffed up like I had read. Then it hit me. My nose was starting to get runny in that cold!

One of our daughters Dachshund just had pups. Had to take her to the vet. She is such a small dog, and those pups were big.
I need to go get some of her photos. Soo dang cute.

Tuff call. Of course we all know about mycoplasma, right? If it is mycoplasma, what should one do? I don't know the answer to that.

Interesting fact... Did you know that Ideal Hatchery is mycoplasma positive? Somewhere on BYC there is an email from them saying that. Will try to find it.

You have Dachshunds? I have one..he is piebald in coloring..I know I've shared photos of this little guy before..but here go..my Brody.
I have been more of a large dog fan, but getting older I find I like the small dogs, like a lot of other old...er folks.
