It smells you on the cam.!
He would be smelling me everywhere. He was closer to my bedroom window with me looking out, (about 15 feet from me), than he was to the camera..I just keep facing it the wrong direction I suppose....

Morning/afternoon everyone!
Ok, I am not zoned for having chickens, but I'm on 2 acres. At some point, I want to change my zoning, but until then, I'm taking my chances. We've been here 4 years, and nobody has complained.
I have a brother that lives on my lot in his motorhome. That is illegal in my town. I have an obnoxious neighbor that complained about the motorhome living - she CAN NOT SEE my property, I'm at least 75 feet higher than the roof of her house - but we've had several run ins with her. I've had to evict my brother.
When code enforcement comes up to make sure we have nobody living in a motorhome, they will see my chickens. So, we are having to dismantle their runs and disguise the coop as a shed. We'll have to stash the chickens somewhere - is there any suggestions on how to keep them quiet? There are 18 hens (and 1 rooster that we'll bring inside). We should know when he's coming, so it should just be a couple of hours.
It would be really nice if he came up at night after they roost, but that isn't going to happen.
The joys of living in the middle of a city....
Nothing I would guarantee. Maybe packed in a dark box.Morning/afternoon everyone!

Do you gave any "bushy" place? You can put them there with an electrical fence.
I'd love to do that!!!! Unfortunately my property line runs right up to her back wall. That's one of the things we've clashed about. She insisted it was city property, but the city told her it was ours.Pen them on the back of the complaining neighbors property while you are getting checked.
