How do I want it blowing on the inside

if that was mine without a baffle on it I would place it so that the air blows to the top of the bator and spreads outward, so THAT ITS NOT BLOWING DIRECTLY DOWN ON EGGS but upwards to blow up and then it will flow out to the heating elements.... so place upsidedown with plenty of shims/distance between the lid and fan.

a cover to send the air outward instead of down

turn the fan upside down so its blow air at the top of the lid where its going to be placed keep room between the fan and bator for the air to circulate

it has to go on the top with long screws AND something to shim it out from the top
THIS IS THE LID LIKE THIS!! but air up do the lid not down on eggs!!!
CH see how fire used long screws, you will need yours out more.... I think fire has it the opposite way than I would do it???? ...... try to find long ones
sorry Kat! all that stuff we already went over and its either in the hatching 101 for a quick grab or the updates to this thread LOL
you take over answering cause I am backed up in helping on messages and facebook poultry page is an assist and I have puppy parents calling me and messaging me too!!
can someone find Fires images again and quote them please about the fan.... and he took one a few pages after that show his screws he used to keep the distance out

Don't get your bowels in an uproar; just read Fire360's posts from last night about the spacing of the holes, the screw or bolts, and the spacers to hold it away from the lid; you'll be fine.
