@chicken hawk 33 , an ear thermometer stuck in the vent hole probably won't give a very accurate reading.

Even still let's say hypothetically you are right the ear thermometer read 96 and the other 101 that's 5 degrees all you would need to do is subtract the difference every time you read it it says 102 ok then it would be 97! STILL DO NOT USE FIVE UNLESS YOU REMEASURE INSIDE THE INCUBATOR AND GET THE SAME RESULTS!

He still has to know if his other thermometers are correct. In my experience, trying to measure air that has movement with an ear thermometer is not the best judge. Just saying. Back to the basics where he should have started instead of half@ssing and getting in a hurry. CALIBRATE YOUR THERMOMETERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
