INCUBATING w/FRIENDS! w/Sally Sunshine Shipped Eggs No problem!

I'm looking for a different heating source than a lamp. Should be good for about 20 chicks as they grow. I'm planning on them being inside for the first month, but after that they will need to be outside. I'd like something that could work in our shed to keep them warm enough there once they can't be inside any longer. I've looked at a heating plate, momma broader, heating mat... Can't decide what works most effectively inside and outside. THANKS!!!!!

Heating mat i would say NO, Outside heating mat DEFINITE NO

is that caused from too low or too high temperature or too much fluctuation?

No.
Starts in the Hen's oviduct.
Nothing should really get into that egg from outside, was there before shell was added.
I would check her vent good, if you aint done so lately.
Does she gots the nasty chicken butt?

Things CAN get through the pores sometimes, I dont wash my hatching eggs because of this.
Conditions are IDEAL for mold/mildew/bacteria to breed inside the incubator.

Make sure you are disinfecting the bator between hatches

nah, I don't think it was from the duck that laid it, I ordered these, and it was developing fine before now (today is day 14) out of the 25 I got 12 were clear, 1 early blood ring and one died at day 7

nah, I don't think it was from the duck that laid it, I ordered these, and it was developing fine before now (today is day 14) out of the 25 I got 12 were clear, 1 early blood ring and one died at day 7
