Your right surviving is not thriving but I have two beautiful ladies here that would not do with surviving alone so my plan was to make it a little better than surviving. Oats that I planted was either eatin by quail or destroyed by a hail storm probably the latter Yep I'd starve. Living off the land would be possible for me and the neighbors for about two weeks if we got the deer before they disappeared but then there's the 1,000,000 or so coming over the hill from the city and protection only goes so far. Not that many bullets on the property and if I was to be prepared for that Uncle Sam would come visiting. :lau
Yes two different nuts and fruits here. When I go to the city I'm always amused by the wild life. Obviously the other fruits and nuts are the ones we are trying to grow here when the weather cooperates :gig
