Yep... Wouldn't even THINK of shipped eggs in a LG that I had never hatched in before!

Evidently they're notorious for hot & cold spots (which shouldn't be a surprise in a rectangular area), so make sure you have multiple thermometers...as in more than two

I figger whatever I do, can't be as bad as what some people I know did and still got got hatches....

I will make sure I get several thermometers, then.

For those of us discussing feed yesterday, here is the cost of my ration. It comes out to roughly 18.1% protein. I do have to supplement calcium to the layers.

On yesterday's market and truck charge divided in, $284.94 a ton.

Wow very nice. At least for here. Alfalfa bales going for $18 and straw hay is down to $9. 16% pellets.30cents per pound

I'm lurking today...I'm at work so I can check in every now and then :)
Lurking!!!! Check out R Krazy Coop on FB, they're having a mottled orpington egg giveaway. ^_^
No,not one has a viable air cell.I really wanted to set them and hatch but not one has a good air cell
That's why you let them sit for the day, hopefully the aircells reattach, or you have to take extra care when attempting to turn them.
