Yes, not sure what the cost offset would be but your birds would probably love you. I'll post the diet here in a bit, but it is by the ton. Then you can break it down from there. If you wanted to do a 200# batch, then divide everything by 10.

Yep, I do, I checked the LG thermometer... It is 2 degrees off!

Don't feel bad... when I first started posting, I got a good scolding for posting about hygrometers. Of course, I the scolding didn't set well with me (imagine that if you can), and I gave the scolder a "what-for". After our come-to-Jesus meeting, we got along really good! Don't worry about a little letter being off.

Just compensate up or down and it should be fine. My IncuTherm Plus showed 102.6 during my last batch, so as long as it stayed on 102.6 I knew the temp was just right...

Ok, this is based on corn at 10% and an overall of 18.1%. Our corn here can be as high as 12% but I always figure 10% to be conservative.

1200# corn (rolled)
400# soybean meal
200# oats (crimped or whole)
100# milo (whole)
50# fish meal
25# calcium
20# Brewers yeast
20# molasses
10# salt w/ trace elements

When I add 100# of BOSS's to the mix, I drop the soybean content to 300#. You can also use NutriBalance in lieu of the Brewers yeast and salt. Also if you wanted to spring for roasted soybeans, you can delete the fish meal.
