I thought I'd share some travel plans. My inconclusive travel plans for 2016http://
I have been in many places, but I've never been in Cahoots. Apparently, you can't go alone. You have to be in Cahoots with someone. I've also never been in Cognito. I hear no one recognizes you there.. I have, however, been in Sane. They don't have an airport; you have to be driven there. I have made several trips there, thanks to my friends, family and work. I would like to go to Conclusions, but you have to jump, and I'm not too much on physical activity anymore. I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often. I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm. Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older. One of my favorite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get! And, sometimes I think I am in Vincible but life shows me I am not. People keep telling me I'm in Denial but I'm positive I've never been there before!
I may have been in Continent, but I don't remember what country I was in. It's an age thing. They tell me it is very wet and damp there. I have been in Deeps++t many times; the older I get, the easier it is to get there.
If you ever move to Deeps++t permanently, look me up. I can show you all the hotspots in Deeps++t!!! :highfive:

Out of ovations.... But so true... :lau

Dang, I don't want to use heat out on the coop and our high today is in the 20's. I'm ready for them to be out. They did have a couple afternoons out there when it was in the 40's for extra exercise. I'd like them to get accustomed to lower temps before I make them go out full time.

My ducks won't even stay in for single digit temps anymore....guess they get tired of being cooped up....

Don't you realize yet that everyone wants you?  :hugs
yup

Ok, this is based on corn at 10% and an overall of 18.1%. Our corn here can be as high as 12% but I always figure 10% to be conservative.

1200# corn (rolled)
400# soybean meal
200# oats (crimped or whole)
100# milo (whole)
50# fish meal
25# calcium
20# Brewers yeast
20# molasses
10# salt w/ trace elements

When I add 100# of BOSS's to the mix, I drop the soybean content to 300#. You can also use NutriBalance in lieu of the Brewers yeast and salt. Also if you wanted to spring for roasted soybeans, you can delete the fish meal.

Happy to answer any questions.

Is this strictly a chicken feed or could something like this be fed to turkeys? I currently feed everybody (chickens and turkeys) Purina Flockraiser.

CH, I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes with shipped eggs, the air cell actually ruptures when it pulls away from the shell. The air space will fill with fluid. It will look like there is no air cell. When you candle them, just the smallest movement of looking for the air cell will make the contents of the ruptured air cell jiggle.

I don't believe ir cells can actually reattach, but we leave them sitting still so they can relax and settle and all bubbles can rise. I don't turn eggs like this at all until they have a good net work of veining. That's what will hold the air cell in place the best. Saddle cells will remain saddle cells. It is possible to hatch the saddle cells. I personally have not been able to hatch completely loose or ruptured cells.

Nothing you can see or not see in there will really help. Just let them rest until you're ready to set Sally's eggs.
