Quite a ways. Safe to assume bar ale is different than brewing grains. I've a friend that give me spent grain for them but I still have to use pellets. Don't really like the filler in the pellets either

Ok, this is based on corn at 10% and an overall of 18.1%. Our corn here can be as high as 12% but I always figure 10% to be conservative.

1200# corn (rolled)
400# soybean meal
200# oats (crimped or whole)
100# milo (whole)
50# fish meal
25# calcium
20# Brewers yeast
20# molasses
10# salt w/ trace elements

When I add 100# of BOSS's to the mix, I drop the soybean content to 300#. You can also use NutriBalance in lieu of the Brewers yeast and salt. Also if you wanted to spring for roasted soybeans, you can delete the fish meal.

Hi, I have never even thought about mixing our own feed. But if I could get all the chicken people I know local to me to go in on this with me, it might work. But, I have to ask, what is BOSS's?
