Alright, so I'm counting the consensus as "fertile enough to fire up the bator just to see what happens..."

:weee

The real question is whether it's a chicken or guinea egg. Either one would be a miracle.
Look what I have from my own two hens.

My great-grandfather was known to leave his team tied in the field whenever the neighbor would come along & tell him the fish were biting in the Sangamon River. This apple never fell far from the tree.

But whites...rumor is crappie are biting at the lake down the road.
So tempting...but four straight days of fishing won't get anything done...hmmmm
I'll ponder it for a while.

How are crappie for eating? My BIL says they are junk. But, then again, he throws everything he catches back. IMO, if I'm gonna put a hook in it, I'm gonna eat it, or give it to the chickens, or plant it in my garden. Lots of crappie under the float at my Dad's camp in the summer. So, does I eats them, does chickens eats them, or does I plants them???

PM please. I'll not go back 300 posts to find your answer!!!

If you catch a mess of Crappie & don't want them, call me! To my way of thinking, Crappie rank high on the list of the best fresh water table fish there are.
