Alright, so I'm counting the consensus as "fertile enough to fire up the bator just to see what happens..."

:weee

The real question is whether it's a chicken or guinea egg. Either one would be a miracle.

Maybe it's a Guinea-chicken cross. Would that be a Guinken or Chicknea?

"GuinHen" according to the link granny sent me.

ya know you can't put the egg back together again :)

Might could've, but DS ate it.

@Sally Sunshine . Great hatch! Boy though you may need ear plugs.
Where and how do you send anything other than for a necropsy. I could easily get a sample.
call your state ag center they dont charge a lot

DO you have to be NPIP certified to ship hatching eggs? States/Agencies Info see post #33884

Any opinions on whether this looks fertile or not?? Is there such a thing as "barely" fertile?

Edit: I added a pullet egg for comparison

awesome!! fertile!

No eggs today.

I am sorry CH did you call them one last time? ask them if they come in after hours if someone could call you?
Quote: I guess so. My OB would get mad and fuss when I said I was only a little pregnant.
