Peter someone I knew used to get these from the brewery close to us really cheap, but they stopped giving it away but dang can you imagine having that access! 

Yes I still get it free. But I have to beat the pig farmer and other employees to it. My friend Peter at the brewery will give me the real time it's out and the pig farmer TPF as we call him, he'll tell him several hours later. I give Peter eggs for the advantage.
You can not feed too much as its too much fiber.
I'm liking the protein content of duck weed and earth worms and really surprised at the protein content of liver. Nice link thanks

Oh good I was worried, actually I'm cutting back on caffeine as my blood pressure is going up. However the more I cut out the more it goes up.

I will be seeing the doctor tomorrow for this problem I hope he tells me to get back on caffeine but I doubt it.

Hello all! Not terribly sure what to do here but i searched and did not find much info. Set up the outdoor brooder yesterday with two lamps. I used the regular bulbs (at least the ones you can buy these days 72w=100w) GE brand incandescent and when I woke up this morning both bulbs were blown. Less than 24 hours of life from both bulbs. Could it be the cold or possibly the position of the bulbs (IE base up). Everything is brand new. I'm very discouraged

Good morning sally sunshine! I don't see evidence that they flew into them and neither bulb was broken just both filaments were blown. outside temps got to 17f last night but at the last check when both lamps were operating it was 70f under the lamps and 50f at the furthest point away from the lamps inside the brooder.
