hopefully they're all done and out by tomorrow morning. I have more eggs to lockdown lol
Congratulations!

:woot  Do you have any pictures? Good luck on the ones going into lockdown:fl

I'll try to get my good camera working tomorrow to get some decent pics. They're cute little buggers and they've gravitated towards my 5 week old silkies as their surrogate mothers lol. I so hope those silkies are hens. They're already very motherly :)

That is so cute! Even silkie chicks have maternal instincts

It's the Hubbard Breeders Hatching guide:

Page 29:

 1. In contrast, high temperature at the end of incubation (38.6°C - 101.5°F - trial temperature) appears to increase the chick’s thermo-tolerance, thus increasing their tolerance to heat stress later in life (Hulet R. et al, 2007).

However, elsewhere it indicates other data to support lower hatch temps as better. One day I may have to test this out with a paired hatch.

ChickenHawk, do you have a computer with a keyboard that you could switch to so you can type better?
