I also have another question. I am on day 21 for my call duck eggs and I have been hand turning them in a carton because they were shipped. Should I take lie them on their sides now because I think they may not be filling in as good as they should be?

I have a few different hens in with the same rooster and I need a way to make sure I know what eggs I am getting. (all of their eggs look alike)

I've never had that situation, so never looked into it, but I'm sure someone here will have an answer.

Ugh!,,home early from work for once, planning to move the 8" of snow off the drive and by the coops and barn, only to find my son decided to clear snow for me and broke the cylinder rod on my bobcat bucket!

If he hadn't been trying to do me a favour he might not be breathing very well right now.

Oh well, chit happens. Will be spending my evening rebuilding a hydraulic cylinder I guess.
