Good morning LocalYokel how goes the day? There was some pics a few pages ago with candles and AC lines.

My trader joe hens are starting to lay nicely. 5 eggs 3 hens 3 days. Not bad for just starting and cold to boot. I'm thinking more of them less of Orpington's

So what what's wrong with having parts left over after reassembling something? Happens all the time. Obviously, they wern't needed & can be re-purposed elsewhere.

Good morning Whites I was thinking the same thing. Besides that's how most builders get started. You have to completely destroy the first few things you get your hands on before you get it right. And definitely keep all extra parts. If I have to make a hardware store run and there's parts left over they never go back the store. Ever.

Good morning, gotro! I don't know how many people are aware that the pics can be zoomed in quite easily if they're using a computer by simply right clicking and choosing Open in a new tab or new window. This opens a larger image than this site's picture viewer, and you can left click on different parts of the pic(s) to zoom in.

From what I can see, most of the air cells look like they're okay... but perhaps a little on the small size. I had a batch that looked similar, and ran between 25%-30% for a couple of days (days 14 - 16), then raised it to 30%-35% for days 17 and 18. When I candled on day 18, they looked perfect. Just a suggestion to be taken with a cup of salt... err... grain of salt.
Hey, that worked pretty good!

I guess a trip to Lowes is in order today for more nails & roofing?
