I've always held a fascination for SCUBA diving, free diving, & spear fishing. Guess it comes from watching so much of Lloyd Bridges in Sea Hunt as a kid  

Mighta been a radio than not a tv. I know more than I should for a man my age. I just hit 33 couple weeks ago so you're only off by about 10 yrs.

Sea hunt was my inspiration to go diving when I was still a kid!
And that gives you an indication of my age, I vaguely remember 33, but Whites has one heck of a head start on both of us!

Hey folks.

I need to clean out the brooder today, but I don't think that's gonna happen. I was lazy (read: it was snowing) when I brought my new birds home a while back and I didn't clean out the carriers, so they didn't get disinfected. Now I have nothing to put the chicks in to clean out the brooder.

I suck at planning ahead.

I used to worry about that but if they're relatively clean they may be OK. Exposure to pathogens isn't all bad for healthy robust birds.

I just noticed I've been elevated to Flock Master. That's funny; I'm the master of 6 whole chickens!

Just think how funny you'd look, fully clothed at a nudist camp

It is an awkward feeling. I may not be able to tell all the stories here.

Was scuba diving in Bonaire and wanted to dive at a site right next to the nudist retreat, that's all.

I think the photos are beautiful, and I'm glad you took the opportunity to go. I'd be jealous, but I swim like a dead rock!

My dad always said he swam like a brick. He could swim but it was laborious.
Negatively buoyant. I'm glad I didn't inherit that trait.

My diving is limited to Monterey and Carmel, CA and two trips to Bonaire.

I broke my leg just before the test dive during my diving classes and never got my certification.
I love snorkeling though. Most of the colorful fish are at snorkeling depth. The pelagics are much deeperr - normally.

Depends on the diver... I went through a tank pretty fast. Think my longest dive on a standard tank was just under an hour.

You sound like me. It isn't natural for humans to breath underwater. I tend to hyperventilate the first couple days.

Had many plans to dive all over the world, but other things got in the way.

Isn't that the truth. The worst thing about chickens is the damper they put on travel.
We have chicken sitters in our group but I wouldn't burden anyone with this much work so I could have fun.
