Hi!

I've always wanted to try hatching my own chicks, so Dad surprised me with an incubator this spring! I am so excited to learn and attempt to use it. but I have one big question left- how many eggs do I need to hatch? This incubator has spots for 41 eggs, and I was thinking to add only a few babies this year. Is it okay to only put in a dozen eggs? Will that throw off the temperature regulation?

Thanks!
All of em.

Won' t hurt a thing; put in as many as you like, as long as it's 2 or more. Chicks hatch better with hatch mates.
