Thank you sally, that is so nice of you! :hugs I'm about to do it.... Popped on to turn on my phone camera, actually.. :fl
Holy crudbucketsfullofsquigglymealworms you guys got even chattier last night!! anything I need to know or can I skip readback?
Not too much, but some did get hatches...

Good morning!  Still nothing, day 23, float test last night said lots of them were wiggling.  All viable.  I took 2 that did not wiggle and tried to open them this morning.  One was barely alive, but a HUGE yolk sack and didn't look ready to hatch.  She didn't make it.  The other wasn't breathing or moving, but there was lots of blood..  They weren't shrink wrapped, or sticky.  Should I just leave them and see what happens?

All the other non hatchers I've had, when I've opened them up, there has been no blood.  What does it mean that there is so much blood in these?
Maybe your temps were low and they are really delayed.

ETA: sorry, am on my phone and missed a bunch of posts. Good luck!

Well I FINALLY got the back side of the kitchen (cabinets and all) cleaned out and reorganized. I convinced hubby bubby to take me to the feed store to take a gander at some jars I want for a maybe-project of a magnetic spice rack. I might be able to convince him to drive out to the grocery store so I can pick up some plastic boxes for organizing the cabinets further!

@Sally Sunshine , this is a great piece of info!

Quote: A NOTE.... and I know your a shell picker as we had discussed before. HOWEVER.... When the chicks circle inside the egg during ZIP stage, they actually twist navel strings/veins and this helps shut down and close them off, if they have too big of an area to get out/or you help them before this happens, they can bleed....

Night all. I catch up and am too tired to do more, of course the fact that I fell asleep in my chair for an hour and a half did not help. Off to bed.
@Sally Sunshine I still have the brace. I am still carrying a cane for uneven surfaces and stairs. I hope you feel better when you wake up.

yep, common sense after you do it a while but its one of those DOHs that hit you

Ducks are much worse, as they go round more than once, creating a bigger and bigger hole until they get out... most people interviene with ducks seeing a big hole up top when in fact they are still resting and doing their turns inside.... ducks are such a hard call when assisting or not....
