I also suggest lining the bottom with wax paper if your hatching in it, clean up in a flash!! wafer location should be near but not at the heat source as they read ambient not radiant heat. fans blowing over and a bit under the heat source.... the wafer reads yummmmmssss thanks!! My serama is smaller than my week old quail

@Sally Sunshine Seriously- the ones with the worst air cells not only have ALL hatched, but they all went in lightening time! Two just appeared when I passed out for 55 minutes- I swear they weren't pipping! We still have a humidity issue I'm fretting over... I had to go to a baby shower now- leaving THIS behind!

I actually have a neigbor right up the road who has a buncha nice goldens... And hatches almost non stop...

Man, now I am gonna be building duck AND quail pens! They are just too cute!




I should just get licensed as a petting zoo and be done with it.
