Even if you have to cull it, a 100% hatch is awesome!!! BR's seem to be easy to hatch... :thumbsup
my Barred Rock and br sex links are first to hatch. Even with six dozen different breeds from a hatchery they were first, but the bum leg pullets was from that group.

Just dropping off to say good morning before I get the kids off to school. CL gotta love three year olds!!! They love to help. All the babies look so cute. See you all soon.
Turn your hat around, so we think you're on the way back, & hurry

I read somewhere that to graft grapes you need to do the cut the day before and let it bleed. Haven't tried it. I wasn't going to graft this year until my brother showed me a neat tool that cuts the branch perfectly at the correct angle with a v shape each time. Suppose to come in the mail today
I will try that next time.

Great!!!!! Cute babies!!!
They're all so adorable, I'm lovin' the variety! This is my second generation barnyard mix, I'm got this really dark almost black one, a bunch of chipmunks sporting cute eyeliner, one that looks like it might be the offspring from a BO rooster, and I have some yellow ones which I'm theorizing might be sons and daughters of my one rooster Tortelini, he was yellow when he was younger and turned out to be white.

7 hatched in the night and I just helped one get out a little bit ago.(He was really stuck on the membrane for some reason and no matter how much water I seemed to put on it it wouldn't loosen so i wound up just peeling it off.) That makes for 12 total with the four that hatched yesterday and that have now graduated to the brooder! And I still have a bunch of pippers left to go and one I'm going to have to help since he's pipping in the middle.

Schweet!!! I wouldn't rush to help the middle-pipper. Give it 24 hours to see if it'll zip on it's own before assisting. :thumbsup
