I can't stop checking for pips already.

Thank you Sally. Guess I'm on my own. Never had this problem with chicks.

Had 14 out of 14 hatch. But one has the bubbly bloody yoke sake on its butt. Not sure about that one. I'll give it a few days and see what happens to it. It's the runt.

awesome Tony!! mostly female?

Ms,@Sally Sunshine ,they are in lockdown.
GO CH GO!!!! good luck

7 hatched in the night and I just helped one get out a little bit ago.(He was really stuck on the membrane for some reason and no matter how much water I seemed to put on it it wouldn't loosen so i wound up just peeling it off.) That makes for 12 total with the four that hatched yesterday and that have now graduated to the brooder! And I still have a bunch of pippers left to go and one I'm going to have to help since he's pipping in the middle.

Y,no body talk to me.LOL
I am in messages, sorry was busy, have home life too

Whelp, I've got the bator up and running. 99.3 degrees and 21% humidity with no added water. My Biele eggs from Boise will be shipped out today. My Biele Eggs from CA will be shipped out tomorrow? Though I will only get some of them, a rooster loss decreased the availability of fertile eggs, so hopefully I'll get the rest in time for the Easter HAL. My SiAm eggs from SC are also going to have to wait, inclement weather and all that made the chickens stop laying. Still pretty excited, maybe I'll toss in a few of my mixed eggs to pad the bator......

Hello everyone! I am a first time chick hatcher and need some info. 14 days ago I set 11 eggs from my girls. I candled a couple of days ago and removed 4 that were not fertile. 2 of my eggs are from a rather small americauna hen. As I have been candling I have noticed that those 2 seem to ge growing a bit more quickly and today one of them moved on its own. My plan was to shut off the auto turner on Saturday which would be day 19 but now I don't know what to do about this egg that is already moving...any help would be greatly appreciated!
