I currently have three out, and five pips. The very first egg to pip stopped after the initial pip, had progress about four hours later, and thirteen hours later, is only now looking like it might hatch tonight.

Two of the three chicks that are out now, I never saw pips two of the three checks that are out now, I never saw pips. They tore out of their shells while I was waiting for the pips I could see to hatch.

The check I hear crying in the incubator right now might be the first one. I just don't know. If this were my first hatch, .. No, it didn't worry me then either.

I am trying to say, that as strange as what is happening is, it just is the way babies are! They come fast or slow. You think they are about to emerge, and they stop to rest.

Go get some rest like everyone says.

Heard them. Didn't see the first external pip until about nine this morning I think.
