I am cold old man, feeties are cold, need to find some bootee socks at the store I think.

I recently bought 3 pair of "35 below" socks from Amazon, made by Under Armour. You might want to try them

They make heated socks. Might be able to find them at a Gander Mountain or some place similar. Or could just order them off the interwebs. They also make this great invention called........slippers (I think) suppose to keep cold feeties warm.

My feet would be sweating.
Keeping your feet warm is all about keeping them dry.
I used to get cold feet hunting and skiing. Someone clued me in what the real problem was. I was keeping my feet warm on the way to work but didn't realize my socks were getting wet at the same time.
I started driving to work barefooted. When I arrived, I'd spray them with an antiperspirant, put on dry socks, put on chilled boots from the trunk and never suffered cold feet again.

Burn a candle for a few minutes, then, dip your finger in the melted wax and smear a thin layer across the crack. I actually hatched one I had given a significant crack to. You'll need to keep a close eye on her during hatch but, sealing the crack protects them from bacteria. Here she is today- our beautiful Bielefelder girl, Kirby

I've tried that and nail polish but still never had any hatch. Have you tried nail polish?

Someone gave me another idea this week I thought was brilliant. New Skin Liquid Bandage. It's antiseptic and dries way faster than nail polish.

Constant 55* underground...that would be nice about now

Their defense needs a boost, & a few receivers need super glue. Rodgers is still the best QB in the league for my money; phenomenal arm. Did better when McCarthy started calling the plays again.

When people talk about Peyton Manning being the best quarterback of all time, all I can say is, "Have they forgotten Joe Montana?"

No offense either...I live a couple hours north of Green Bay...never been there. I always head to southern Michigan as I grew up in Detroit area.
So if I was a football fan if be a Lions fan...(all my kids are)...No Baseball I love so I'm a Tigers Fan.
Alan Tramell and Kirk Gibson (1984 Tigers) were just at the bar in Little Lake two weeks ago. I named my youngest son after Gibby....wish I'd known could have met him would have been cool.

Thanks Shellie. I thought about doing that but I think all the candles I have are scented and I wasn't sure if they could be toxic to the bird in the egg. But everything else I thought about sealing it with I know is toxic so... I'll try something. I might be able to find something around here. The last cracked egg I had (1st hatch ever) hatched without intervention, but I may try to seal this one.

I thought about naming her izzy after the girl on Jake and the Neverland pirates (small children live here with me, remember...),...they always say, "Oh coconuts!"... It was an homage to the scented candle I sealed the crack with

I can't take any credit for the cull a actually... @Jessimom saved the day and came over, took the chick to her place where her boyfriend took care of things... The poor baby was having seizures and her legs just didn't work (was the reason she couldn't zip on her own, @chicken hawk 33!)... We are all better now. Everyone here is finally on the "better" side of being sick and we have 6 Buff Brahmas and 24 silkies set and on day 4! Can you say addicted?!? I am retiring for awhile after the HAL though... Must regroup!

Stay warm and helpful today! Where do we all send your paycheck for assistance 24/7?
