Bacteria shouldn't be a problem in the 'bator following a cleaning with a clorox/water solution. Bacteria on the eggs is another matter. I believe Sally's notes address that; not positive, but I think I remember seeing it.I usually blame myself for most things that go wrong, but I see movement and signs of life going into lock down but they don't hatch. The shipped eggs, maybe that was my problem, but these 6 were my eggs. Set within a day or two of being laid. My late hatches in my prior hatches led me to believe that the 5 calibrated hygrometers were wrong and my temps were low. I've upped the temps by .5 degrees in the LG. But the new bator won't allow me to alter the temps. I just ordered some more hygrometers that have high/low readings. Maybe I am having spikes. Is t
here a way to test for bacteria?
Have a good night all!!
I'm off to watch a bit of NASCAR and see what kind of trouble I can get into before the DW gets home.

You try warm honey & lemon juice for that throat?
Phil, it's Alaskan's fault.
