It's out now and resting. Everything looks to be fully developed, and I don't see any yolk. I won't be able to tell if everything is really in working order until it dries off some and starts trying to walk. Hopefully it's alright. It definitely seems to have some spunk.

I didn't weight them to start. All the air cells are about the same size but I don't have anything to compare them to to know if they are the right size for day 7. I have 3 thermos in there and no water. Not sure how to lower humidity if there isn't any water in there to start with! I was trying to do dry hatch but it is what it is at this point. I was unable to find any other hydrometers that would fit in there so I'm just using the un calibrated one on the machine. The therm. on machine seems surprisingly very accurate... Hoping the hydrometer is too. Thanks for your help! I flipped the upside down egg.

Fingers crossed I get that dang bator going smoothly!!

The bator is all cleaned out and waiting for the next batch. For shipped eggs, should I ask for them to be shipped on Monday the 29th for setting on Saturday the 5th? It takes 2 to 3 days for the eggs to get to my place....just worried if I ask for wednesday, they may be held up by the good ole USPS

I am pretty sure you have a 2 day leeway, get them monday so your sure to get them. Your egg amount wont be entered in the amount of eggs set thats all!! do whats best for the eggs, ask for fresh eggs and how you want them shipped!

Howdy.....beautiful day here. A bit chilly but sunny. And calm. Great weather as long as you got a coat on.
Took the wife out to lunch. Was good. Went to a tiny diner out in the sticks. It actually used to be a gas station my wife worked there years ago.

Well, I have been waiting patiently for the DH to go take pictures of my wrecked White Jersey Giant to show Kathy... He is still gone and sundown is approaching. Hopring to get a few pictures in to see if she needs to be treated or if she is just a molt and breed girl.... tick tock.. tick tock
