O M G.... ok, after THIS many years, I have finally bought a 'bator!!!!!!! in now have on my counter a brand new Brinsea Eco Octagon 20
Next Friday I will be picking up some VERY important eggs. I have never hatched before. My favorite breed in the world are Sultans. They are such an endangered breed. I have been given the opportunity to help their numbers by hatching and breeding them. O M G!!!!! I have no clue and am scared to death..... lolol I cant wait!

Today is only day 26 for my eggs (turkey) and I think I already have an internal pip! I swear, I heard a peep from the bator! I candled them all really quick since it's my last chance before they start pipping. I believe I have one overachiever in there

I'm on my first incubation too... Locking down in a few minutes, actually... I'm soo nervous!!!

You will do fine as the bator holds the temps for you

I grab them out and just make sure their is a tiny hole no fluids and chirping, add a damp papertowel at the same time and your good. 

I turned it. It poked all the way through but there is a little blood.

Guy at work wants me to hatch some NN Silkies of his for his sister. He has broody now with 6 eggs but they want more. So I'll be putting in some of them for the Easter Hal
I'll be using mostly my birds eggs Finally faying really well now including the Lavenders 10 months old.
