I have 2 more zipping! One is that blue egg I showed earlier
:yesss:
Sally did you see my candling pic last night? I fiddled with the colors so it GLOWS.
good image!!! wait!! this is not the ones due next week!! how old 7 days?
Day 4, last night when I took that pic. It's the one on top of the others, horizontal, and I don't turn it enough. Too many other things I'm trying to keep alive. I've been managing 3x a day, more when I think about it. So it was one the one side, instead of the middle like they are in the turner. Am I saying that right?

WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE IN EASTERN WA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I kinda wanna see......
Aww, go ahead. Ain't you overdue for a road trip?

My bator is 100 degrees and 28 percent humidity.. I know I have to raise the humidity.. but I am getting two different views on coutenix quails.. 100 or 95??? go!!

I accidently posted this in Grannys thread, bless her soul. But the farmer I am getting the coutnex or what ever quail eggs sent me a message saying they need to be hatched at 95 degrees and I read the thread that said 99 degrees.. thoughts????

Yes lay them horizontal to hatch. We have found that if you have them upright for a week and then try to lay them down, some DIS occurs, but only at the beginning of incubation, its best to keep the same direction until day 14 on before laying them horizontal once started upright, same for the other way around.
Ok, so that means I need to leave the unlovable incuview bator as my hatch bator, and leave the other eggs in the upright turner. They are only on day 9 and day 13. I'm hoping the increased temps will help these hatch. I'm not adding any more eggs until everything I currently have started, hatches. Then, sterilize everything, leave it for a few weeks and try again.

Thanks!!

Patience is key, You got this.

Never would've guessed that...learn something new every day.
How's that leg of yours doing? Back to 100% yet?

About as close as it will ever get according to the docs and my physio terrorist. Too many sports injuries earlier in life when I still believed I was invincible. As long as I look after it properly, its good, but then my physio gal would miss me!
