Every one in neighborhood knows I'll take any roosters they don't want. The last two roosters I've received have been hens. More eggs for me.

Two Seramas have hatched, and a third one is pipped. I really hope that more hatch. Baby Muscovy is in a brooder now, but it won't quit crying.

I'm not sure but they did. I think they mistook mean for rooster. They don't want them back even after I told them.

Thanks! I've mainly been focusing on Call ducks, Seramas, and Muscovies lately.

Oh yea. I'll take pullets any day. Ones a RIR the other is a Brahma. Accord to both owners they were super mean. Heck the Bramha has become a pet. That doesn't happen around here much.

So many reasons for a hen to become mean. This just means that you got the right formula!!!! Over crowding, poor protein, so much more. Glad you have them.
