There's lots you can do. I live in a climate that gets freezing cold in the winter but I don't leave chicks where they can freeze to death.

I would just bring them all in the house, or if it flooded, on my boat. I have 3 pheasant crates I use to transport chickens, just strap those on the front of my fishing boat.
