If your gonna throw a fastball right down the middle what else am I supposed to do with it?

The little things that frustrate me... I pride on the spelling of words, and I go to Hoovers Hatchery and they have Ameraucana spelled Americana. They should at least know how to spell their own chicken breed names.
Why is that not surprising. They are just like every other hatchery which misrepresents these birds, calling them Ameraucana or Araucana, or some poorly spelled name of either of these specific breeds, when all they are selling is EE. Don't get me wrong. I love EE, and consider them to be a better layer than either the Ameraucana or the Araucana. But, why must the hatcheries misrepresent their stock????????????

Can duck eggs be incubated at the same time as chicken eggs?
Yes and no. They can go in the bator with chicken eggs, at the same temp., but they need to cook for a week longer, unless they are Muscovie, in which case, they need to cook for 35 days. If you're planning a hatch of ducks with chickens, the easiest way to do it would be to set the duck eggs first, and set the chicken eggs a week later so they all hatch on the same day.

I agree with you on that first part, LG. I take no issue with EEs as a breed, but don't try to sell them to me as Araucana or Ameraucana.

I know they cook for a week longer but didn't know if they had the same humidity requirements as chickens.
