Jess are you getting them from DHeztle  also is that your ad on FB for the turkey eggs or poults?

Yes, they are from dheltzel. TillyPeeps drove out there the other day for chicks and brought back eggs for me. I have to meet up with her husband's here in a couple hours to pick them up :)

The only ad that I have on Facebook is on the Blair county yard sale page. As wierd as that sounds, I payed it up there just to see if there would be any interest and I ended up with a last of people wanting them lol. I did have one of the PA poultry page but I took it down when I wasn't getting any responses on there and already ended up with a huge list from the local page. If you saw am add with a bunch of poults in two baskets with yellow on the left and bronze on the right, then that was me lol.

Quote:To treat for MG, which I am thinking is influencing fertility rates. The roos have it the worst, and I think it prevents them from breeding as they start wheezing if they run after a hen.

Quote:Yeah, those are EE's passed as AM's, the spelling bugs me to NO END though. Wish they wouldn't misinform buyers.

Yes, Ma'am, 'tis I. No pots to stir, so I took the opportunity to pull my PVC feeder & clean it out. That driving, wind-driven rain we've had the last couple days got the feed in the bottom wet so's the feed in the tube wouldn't come down. All better now, but you shoulda heard the rooster "growl" when he saw me carrying the feeder away

I have a question. If I want to sell my 8-week-old (New Year's HAL) Barred Rock chicks... 3 pullets and 4 cockerels. I see MPC selling 6-week-old started pullets for $24.95 each plus shipping, but think that's a little high for juvenile BR's. Laying age, maybe, but not juvies. I want to sell them all in one lot. What do you think will be a fair price to ask for all 7???

$80-$100

Remind me why you need the Denaguard before you set eggs please.

I was going to get CCL but couldn't handle the $250 for a pair when they were first imported and listed for sale. A lot of people bought them, including a guy about 150 miles from me. He gave me first dibs on eggs but he raised his price dramatically by the time they came along. I gave up.
Wow... I guess they've come down considerably since then. I checked on Greenfire Farms (supposedly first importer), and they have a 6 chick minimum... 5 pullets and 1 cockerel plus shipping is a mere $199.
