You. One minute you make me cry you are being so nice. The next I wish I knew how to make you happy with me.

No. I am that hideous.
So now I get to have an excuse for me being the way I is?

From my understanding I have never been unhappy with you.

It is highly unlikely, how about duct tape than?

She was in a nest box when I went out. I can't be 100% about why she wasn't in the coop. I hate to think of where she could have been. It may have been the storage area, it may have been in the lilac bush. Or... She may have decided that that the neighbor has become worthy of her begging for treats. I doubt that since even the neighbor's chickens don't like her much. But, if Sheryl went too close to the neighbor, the neighbor could have taken her. If that is what happened, her mother must have made her let Sheryl go.

Thanks!

I had one of my EE's go broody last year. We gave her some eggs, but she ended up kicking them out of her box, and the sitting on them in the dirt and doing other weird stuff. Nothing hatched. I've heard silkies are known for going broody. I'm hoping this one has better luck than the EE..

I hope you find her! Do you lock up your chickens at night?

Morning!!

And my wife wonders why I don't like neighbors.

Well, I have all of my ducks and chickens locked into the run now. They are not going to be happy with the mud they have to play in but, I know that they will all be there tomorrow.
The chicks are doing well. Though a whole gallon of water is gone. It might be too close to the heat lamp, but I'm not quite buying that.
