Why would you want to get rid of beavers?
Why wouldn't you? They're very problematic here in the south...

Ok, sadly my gimpy chicken appears to have had a stroke. It's right side is no longer cooperating. I'm going to have to cull it, or rather I"m going to ask someone else in the family to cull it for me.....

SO sorry.

I was going to ask if anyone helped out Purplelove, who posted here yesterday needing urgent help with an assist that was bleeding. I think s/he got lost in all the chatter. But I did a search for the user name, and they started a new thread asking for help, and someone else talked them through it. Not sure if the chick made it.

Busy busy busy. I've been collecting eggs from Lissa, but am waiting for the arrival of my calibrated thermometer/hygrometer to double check the Brinsea before setting (I am suspicious that the humidity reading is off). Timing may end up being in line with the Easter HAL! The Crema Legbar chicks are almost three weeks, growing SUPER fast, and really ready to get out of the brooder (I'm ready for them to be out as well!). Gotta get their growout tractor done first. (Most of the lumber is prepared, but now needs to be cut and lapped. Also need to get and bend conduit).
OK, off to do more grading, just stopped in to catch up and say hi.

Noodling is on my bucket list...... and I am serious.. everyone thinks Im crazy.
And I'm with them. Ain't no way I'm going under in water that looks like cocoa & stick my arm up to the shoulder into a log or hole, feeling around blind for something that weighs half as much as I do, or more, to say nothing of the snake or snapping turtle that might be there, too. Not this boy! I'll watch from shore to make sure you surface. Them people's flat NUTS

WOW!  Nice looking cats; no wonder you need all that boat. Most cat fishermen 'round here work out of bass boats or jon boats

I've watched more than one bass boat filled full of water. Rough riding mothers and the big water kills them. There is something to say about a big bay boat with enough horses behind it to cut the waves and keep your self out of trouble. Self draining floors are also a wonderful addition.

Always have been intrigued by it... I really wanna do it.. I wont go on a plane, I wont sky dive... What else is left

Sucks I always gotta run 2 rigs when we go to the lake for a few days. The DOT feller would love to write that "over length" ticket if I hooked it all together!
