Mountain climbing, panning for gold, riding a burro to the bottom of the Grand Canyon, riding cross-country on horseback, big game hunting where you pack into the high country on horseback, you name it; anything beats having a snapping relieve you of a finger, or worse

There are great gold panning spots here and I know just in Montana you can go look for precious stones.. I would even Meteroite hunt.. but Washington state is the worse terrain for that.. all good stuff.

Never really paid attention to the color codes of two-wire transformers when it comes to wiring fans... but if I were guessing I'd say the white markings would be the positive wire. If it isn't, you'll simply have reversed polarity and the fan will run backwards. 

So I'd have to stand on my head to see it work properly than?

Stand on your head... AND... gargle peanut butter. This is the only certified test for proper polarity.

It may not tell correct polarity, but will verify if you are indeed "certified".

Depends whites. I hold lifetime licenses in Kansas and Oklahoma. And every year I end up with licenses in Texas, Missouri, Alabama, Arkansas, Wyoming and Kentucky.

Of all of them, I've fished Kentucky Lake, for White Crappie. 'Bout froze my tush off, in APRIL. Never been that cold for that long before or since, & I was wearing a goose down jacket!

I still need to research if there is crappy here... the way you go on about it, I got to try it....

There's crappy everywhere. If you're talking about crappie... you may want to research your area.
