Agreed!
Why must you teach her these things?

The 12v supply I'm using has an output of 800ma (which is .8a). That's more than enough to run everything I have in there 12v. The fans can take anywhere from .12 to .25a depending on several factors. I'm not sure it's necessary to run more than one (unless they're really small) IMO. Better safe than sorry though. And I would still try to check voltage and power requirements on the LED light.![]()

Yes sir. Wire them in parallel and they both still get 12v but the amperage demand doubles (add the two together).I'll take a look at it when I get home. I figure if I want the 12V fans to run at full speed they would each need a separate supply. So you're saying that one 12V power supply could supply both fans enough juice to run at full speed?
If you want dim lighting, 9V should work on 12V LED's. Just be sure there's plenty of amperage in the trasformer... LED's use more energy at lower wattage. Personally, I would just wire it/them in with fans, but that's your call.I would add a separate power adapter for the light and I have a 9V one just laying around. Each fan will be on it's own 12V power supply.
What do you mean by wire them parallel?Yes sir. Wire them in parallel and they both still get 12v but the amperage demand doubles (add the two together).
Well if I wire the fans on the same than I'll have a spare 12V I could put the light on. I think I'll do the light separate so I can turn it off and on without turning off the fans.If you want dim lighting, 9V should work on 12V LED's.
