Don't ever let her near a washtub full of puppies if a water hose is near byFast enough?
I'm sitting next to the tub while she's laughing at her toys as she drowns them.
Agreed!

Must have gotten up earlier than you thought.I thought it was a hen from show-winning lines that you might get. Wanted to know what I thought. Am I totally confused already this morning? usually takes a few hours longer![]()

Both fans will receive 12V. As long as the amperage of the transformer exceeds the draw of the fans, they will run at full speed.I'll take a look at it when I get home. I figure if I want the 12V fans to run at full speed they would each need a separate supply. So you're saying that one 12V power supply could supply both fans enough juice to run at full speed?
Just make sure that the transformer has a big enough rating to run them both.Yes sir. Wire them in parallel and they both still get 12v but the amperage demand doubles (add the two together).
I'm sorry chaos. Wiring in parallel means all of the positives together and all of the negatives together. What do you mean by wire them parallel?
Well if I wire the fans on the same than I'll have a spare 12V I could put the light on. I think I'll do the light separate so I can turn it off and on without turning off the fans.
Thanks. Any thoughts on running one fan or two? post #62784 of 62957Both fans will receive 12V. As long as the amperage of the transformer exceeds the draw of the fans, they will run at full speed.
Now I gotta check my power supply.Just make sure that the transformer has a big enough rating to run them both.
Take the Total Amps available from the power supply - the sum of the amperage of ALL devices. This should be a positive number. If not your power supply is not big enough.
Example
Power supply is .8a
Each fan takes .18a to run. There are 2 of them so the total amperage is .36.
.8-.36=.44
This is a suitable power supply
Example 2
Power supply is 300ma (which equals .3a)
Each fan takes .18a to run. There are 2 of them so total amperage is .36.
.3-.36=-.06
This power supply is NOT big enough to run both fans and will likely overheat.
What do you mean by wire them parallel?

Parallel is where each fan is receiving power from the power supply... wires Y'd from supply. In series the power passes through each device in order of sequence. Clear now? What do you mean by wire them parallel?
