Just got caught up from yesterday afternoons post. Not gonna try to quote them all but here goes.
Nutria have no place in my book. They have destroyed my pond. Went from a 15-20 ft deep 1 acre beauty with 5-6 lb largemouth and enough bluegill that the 4 of us could fish all day Saturday with no more than a few minutes without a fish on the line into a 5ft deep mud pit that I don't think even has a fish in it. They tunneled through the dam and it now flows into a drainage ditch. Tried having a few people come out and look at it to help me fix it but nobody is willing to invest the work because that portion of the property is in a flood plain. The joys of living at or below sea level.
Fire370 awesome on supporting ccl in your workplace. I got mine back a few months ago and just about the only time I'm not carrying is when I'm in uniform. That might be soon to change as they are considering opening it up to limited personnel on base. luckily I'm at a point in my career that I may be able to be one of the select few. Hard to imagine I've served in the AF for the past 15 years and one of the few places that I cant carry is on base. Also I think you were the one that was mentioned as having coyote experience. I'm still trying to figure out how to tag people but did you see my post a few days ago about a predator and do you have any input about the possibility of coyotes. Haven't had any issues and nothing on the camera since I put it out Sun afternoon so hopefully its good to go now.
MC congratulations on finding your keys and Chaos time to watch out she's definitely mobile now that she has got keys.
Next question is to anybody that feels like giving input. I have a digital thermo/hygrometer as one of the 4 thermos in my incubator right now. the one I feel is most consistent and would prefer to use is a bulb type with the open sensor. How can I go about testing that to check for accuracy. plan was to get a cheap medical thermometer and use that to compare the two but how can I do that without submerging the open bulb. Wife is probably gonna kill me if I say I want another thermometer. I need to find a was to mistakenly buy one the spot checks and be done with it. Managed to accidently buy a gun at auction once and it worked so who knows.
