Shalom Benny. The chicks look great.
Them are some dirty looking eggs. If you try washing them go here:so I got the eggs yesterday that I am setting for the Easter hatch along do you think I have a chance at hatching them I had to chisel most of the gunk off along with eggshells and hard yoke and the ones in the picture weren't even the worst I will also be setting 4 or 5 of my orpingtons eggs along side that dozen
i tried a two eggs that were just about three weeks on my first hatch i had know clue what i was doing but one never developed and one hatched but i had to cull it do to deformitiesI know 7 days is the general rule for stored eggs, but I'd like to hear of anyone's experience with setting eggs that have been stored for up to 2 weeks. I'm keeping them in a Styrofoam egg carton with a damp hand towel over the carton since the air is pretty dry in our house.
