Is it big no no to put eggs into lockdown a day early?

I put 9 eggs into lock down on day 18, but I also threw in 4 silkies that were only on day 14. Only 3 of those 9 hatched and were moved out to the brooder leaving the 4 silkie eggs. But all 4 of those eggs hatched yesterday (day 21). So, they were in lock down from day 14 and hatched fine. Better than the ones that went on day 18.

I was so many pages behind. I skimmed and saw diaper wars, grammar/spelling police, Emu eggs (MEAN, NASTY birds), a MOA? What the heck? Cute hatches with a beautiful blue egg (and a bunch of others) pipping, Adorable goats etc but my quotes disappeared.

That about covers all of the important stuff.
