Thanks, I was going to separate it (not sure of gender yet) just to see if the others will integrate with it gone. I have Christmas and January 21 chicks I am trying to get to become one group. This is where I wish I had some older hens or a rooster.

Often, by removing a bird from the flock for an extended period of time, it tends to lose it's place in the pecking order. It may come back to the flock with a completely different attitude... but there's no guarantee. Won't know until you try...

I also wondered about protein deficiency, which causes many birds to pluck and eat feathers... but it doesn't explain the bad behavior of not letting the others eat from either feeder. The bully definitely needs to be isolated from the others until it can learn to play nice...
