Definetly! Great minds think alike now you need pheasants and emu.

been there dont the pheasants, thats the only thing I did for months while I was sick was hatch pheasants for my dad, I would brood them two weeks and then he would take them to his place. Emu would love to do but cant afford them or know what to do with them afterwards unless sell them! I have kids so I dont know how that would work out in the back yard!!

What kind of pheasants? Yeah may need to wait a bit on the emu. But someday maybe?

What is the temp? Use a calibrated thermo and check. A 40w bulb makes my bator 106* so I think your 75w would be plenty warm.

Every time I think I know how I want to build this coop, i get another idea.

Do what I'm doing. Look through all the different ones in the COOPS section, study it in detail as much as possible, then copy it. I bought a prefab last year 'cause I needed one quick. I'm in the process of copying it now, with some modifications and better material. How big are you thinking?
