You'd have plenty of time to build one since they take almost 2 months to incubate.

And I dont have the money to get materials for the pen right now so emu may have to wait a few years.

I don't know if I told everyone in this thread but my husband's gave me permission to get an emu I just have to wait until we get a pen built and ready so probably next year. BUT I have permission! Woo!

There's somebody out your direction that has emu eggs listed on pennswoods for $25 a piece

I really DON'T need emu.....But..... No emu....Don't have a pen anyway I guess I'm safe for now. Dont tempt me though.

Aw, too bad, that would have been an awesome coop!

I want a coop that big for real, mine is only 12x14..... I'm going to upgrade in the next few years (roof is falling in) but I don't think I'll be able to go any bigger.

Ok,I think when my dozen eggs come in.that week I will save my eggs and fill to full commodity without the turner.who thinks so.LOL I have the death bator with two goose eggs.a broody hen with eggs.my muscovy is laying a clutch of eggs.and have eggs coming the week of the 28.

Sounds pretty ambitious, but you might want to fill the 'bator to full capacity.
