See it? Look how ROUND that 'ling is. And the FACE!! See the brown eyeliner?? Look at it!! Just look! Is it not the cutest thing EVER? The beak, it is 2 different colors! It has such a goofy sparkle in it's eyes. It's beak meets up perfectly with it's widdle fuzzy squooshie face. I must hug this hoopoose duckiling that is all warm and cosy.

Bub. You forgot the little red pils today? Remember the Doc. Have said that you need to take them daily!

Sorry to jump in with a random post but I know this is an active, helpful thread - best personal recommendations for my BO that was brutally attacked by my older flock?? (Long story that I posted in the injuries forum) but her one eye is shut, comb bloodied...they pulled all her feathers out at the back of her head.

She is separated now (& not going back) she's in her own large cage in our shed with food, water, treats - I don't know what's going to happen with that eye for sure but going back out to doctor her up. Any help on best ointments or anything else is appreciated!! She's my baby!! I feel so bad!! Her name is Henrietta

@Sally Sunshine Hi Sally, just popped in to say "Hi" and to give you my 3/17/16 hatch update. Started with 23 eggs, 7 were infertile at day 7 candling as well as 1 early death. Still had 15 eggs cooking on day 14. Came up on day 18 and most looked good, but had a couple that were a little iffy, but I left them in. Day 21 12 hatched, 3 were DIS in shell, late death, no internal pip & shrink wrapped. Hatched 12/15

my first hatch just completed I got 11 out of 19 eggs hatched 2 of the late hatchers have splayed legs I'm doing the band aid method the one that didn't hatch had a very small air cell and the shells were very thick
