light with wet warm rag in a dish to hold humidity and top with holes? not sure!!So, a majority of my chicks under the broody have hatched. But, there is still one pipper left. The hen keeps leaving the egg and I keep putting it under her. I enlarged the pip whole so I could see if it was alive. And it is. I don't have a bator(my friend is borrowing it) what should I do?

Not Yet!!! there is a guide here but your not ready !!!Hello! I come baring questions! So I have my eggs in lockdown for the Easter Hal and was wondering if it is ok to do the method of putting the eggs in water to see if they shake? Thanks for any advise!![]()
I posted for you about shipped eggs did you see it??? you can lay horizonal like I do and roll with your hands for turning gentlyWould it be better if I layed the eggs on the bottom of the bator and hand turned them? I can't seem to find any tips on setting serama eggs. I guess I could try to use the dividers but they are a pain!

HELP!! I opened the brinsea to start moving chicks for lockdown, and a loose egg fell out and went splat. The baby is moving and cheep ing but blood everywhere. How can I save it or put it out of its misery?
I couldn't tell anyone anything; my computer froze up again. I was going to ask her if that plate she mentioned was a brooder plateI am surprised Whites didn't tell ya! Put it in the oven! Turn it on low (I will look it up, but for now) put it on 150* with the door open. Don't forget to put it in a pan!
Farmer's wives did it often! Women put them in their bras sometimes.
Duh!(stupid me) Put it under a heatlamp with a wet paper towel!
Have you tried not leaving it outside when the temps get so low?I couldn't tell anyone anything; my computer froze up again. I was going to ask her if that plate she mentioned was a brooder plate
