The one from my pet chicken because I really want a roo and I live in a suburban area

Sort of. It reduces the volume for sure but did not completley stop him crowing.
He did hate it and spent a lot of time trying to get it off, even when there was a sock over it. Then he would jump up and get crazy when it was put back on again. Finally during one of his fits to get it off he whacked his head so hard against the side of the coop that he died. It was sad and the last rooster I kept.
