I got one from my last batch im.pretty sure a Black Australorp covered a Dominique hen....

Anyone have any thoughts on that?
Is it a specific hybrid,like a Black Sex link or jus a mutt?

That is great just don't forget they are contagious without symptoms.
You might check with your vet about an antibiotic for the chicks before/at integration.

I turned 33 a few days after my daughter was born - best early birthday gift EVER!!!!

How neat!! And thank you! I've finished up in the kid department now BUT chicks hatching would be awesome...so we'll see!! I locked down last night and the kids are so excited! If I didn't kill anyone and we get a decent hatch rate, that will be an awesome birthday weekend (besides spending it with family for Easter too!)
