 Can you go over what incubator you are using, what hygro, did you calibrate it, where is it in the incubator. Are the air cells ok or damaged?

It's an old brinsea octagon 20, I've been using a digital thermo/hygro that sits on the bator floor. I've not calibrated, but had 2 successful hatches using it

Only if it was born that way. You don't have to cull it, but I personally would. It can live a fairly normal life, and lay eggs. Even become broody, but that requires special care. I broke mine to keep her safe.
