Is this malpositioned?

Hard to tell from the picture, sorry. But it looks like it is just about out.
Have you been assisting?
As Sally said a while back, you can see and assess the best.
Can you tell if it is fully absorbed?
If you are assisting, perhaps remove a bit more of the shell along the zip line, on the left side. It will likely push the cap right off the air cell from what I can see.
I may be wrong on this, but you can judge best what needs to be done.

I assisted. This guy may have started to hatch early...my whole hatch is wonky. Does this look like ok hatch remains in the shell?

Bejammie,
He looks pretty well absorbed in that photo, but maybe a few hours too early?
Can you put it in a small cup or bowl in the bator for a while and let it rest safely?
I had one last hatch that popped a bit early and it tore its navel on the shell, did not survive.
Might have been a bit too quick to assist, next time you are worried about a pip taking too long to zip, try wetting a paper towel with hot water and wrap the egg in it. Leave the pipped area exposed.
The added moisture will keep the membrane from drying out too fast if it takes a long time to zip.

Hope the little one thrives for you! :fl
