Don't look at it like the first day of the work week. Look at it as being one day closer to Saturday

that wind had to go away, I pray the dish didnt get loose from that winter storm that blew so good, but dang it was frustrating I kept getting on and getting booted till I said screw it!!

@Sally Sunshine did you see my post about my day 7 candle. Any suggestions?

Day 7 candle update. 1 Sally's projects, 3 saphires, and 4 Cream legbar had blood rings. That leaves 4 projects, 4 sapphire, 3 cream legbar and 7 Lavender Orpington.

This one???? or did you respond after I did?

So do you guys bury wire around all your coops, or do you have an alternative for coops that may be moved later? This is being built on two 8' and two 10' four by fours. I will use hardware cloth, but I am worried about diggers with this and my other moveable coop. My big one has burried wire.

I have hatching eggs out the rear!!!!! but legbar are slowing, Serama fertility is UP higher!!! yayayyaaaa

But I only set these lol

Smartest thing I ever did was relocate my dish to a post in the ground beside the house, where I can reach it from the deck. Now I just step out the door, broom in hand, to clear the snow off to restore the signal. After yesterday, with that wind, I'd probably be missing part of my roof if I hadn't relocated it.

I have a PVC run I can move to whatever needs one. Either an extension, or a new coop that doesn't have a run up yet.
I have chicken wire that lays on the ground about two feet out. A brick, board, heavy object or even a shovel here and there will hold it down. If you leave it a week or two, the grass will grab it, and hold it down.
